Imperial Chocolate Stout with cacao nibs, brown sugar and Madagascan vanilla.

We've thrown 80 kilos of Madagascan vanilla and Colombian cacao nibs in addition to 100kg of cocoa powder at this Imperial Chocolate Stout. Rich dark chocolate flavours run all the way through to a smooth yet assertive roasty bitterness on the finish. The introduction of soft dark brown sugar makes for a real decadent treat!

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 28/02/21. Black with a good sized tan cap that retains well. Nose is nutty, dark fruits, rich chocolate, faint coffee, molasses. Taste comprises roasted bite, dark chocolate, toffee, muscavado sugars, light coffee, spice, light booze. Full bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a good kick of alcohol. Solid flavoursome impy stout ... rich and decadent.
