330ml bottle from Sophie's Beer Store: BB 12th Dec 2020. Drank at home on 17th Jul 2020. Beige head on a black body, head stayed around. Singed malty nose and taste, earthy with that Rye feel you get when that cereal is used.

Dark beer, properly smokey smell. Almost bacony. Flavour has that too, a very light saltiness, good earthy malt base a touch of the rye too. I'd like a LITTLE more body ideally but it's rather tasty.

330ml bottle. Dark appearance, small tan head. Aroma of smoked roasty twiglets. Taste is distinctly earthy with a nice gentle smoked character, some twiglets re-appearing, woody with a refreshing balanced drinkability for a smoked beer. Pretty good.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - dark brown, fawn head, again fitting into the STF glass perfectly. Nose - smoke, chocolate and going into brown sugar or molasses. Quite earthy. Taste - brown sugar, molasses and smoke again. Lightly burnt wood. Palate - creamy and smoky. The smoke helps it clean on the finish. Overall - very nice.

Bottle at Fierce's 1st bottle share. It pours cloudy deep brown with a small beige head. The aroma is earthy, smokey, bitter - sweet, oily, meaty and a fistful of bacon. The taste is roasty, toasty, earthy, oily, toothy, sticky, umami, smooth smoke, cacao, touch of spice and leather with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Not bad.
