Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers GB. Aroma is light roasted coffee and dried fruit. Taste is dry with some stone fruit and roasted malt. Little thin on the finish but not bad.

330ml can from Durham shop. Gusher on opening. Black brown colour, bubbly tan foam head leaving lacing and aroma of malt, smokey, chocolate, coffee, caramel. Taste is roasted malty, powdered chocolate, coffee, molasses, dried fruit, with tangy earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasted earthy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Keg @ Fighting Cocks, Oakengates alongside a very good pork pie and mustard. Pours jet black, with a frothy beige collar. Aroma brings light coffee, chocolate malt. Overall character focuses on prominent chocolate malt, semi-sweet with some mild roast and coffee glimpses. Very good.
