Citra Hops and Honey, what's not to like? Balanced and mellow, semi sweet with a honey dance on the tongue. This is where beer meets mead, and they get along very well.

330ml bottle. Clear dull yellow gold. Aroma of very floral honey. Taste of sweet honey, very floral, other than some mild citrusy/herbal notes the Citra really isn't obvious. Disappointing.

330ml bottle bought at The National Brewery Centre. Shared with Finn. Noisy pour, fast diminishing white head, unclear grey-golden body, poor lacing. Modest honey and grass on the nose. Honeyed fruity flavours. Prolonged ending. Unvaried and way to sweet. About drinkable. (Hotel room, Hereford 16.10.2022).

Bottle from beer Ambleside. Appearance - pale yellow. Fizzy. Nose - big floral honey note. Not sure if the floral honey is hiding the hop aroma. Taste - same as nose. Maybe floral hops and floral honey are intertwined. Honey is the main show in town though. Palate - light to medium bodied. Sweet middle which is slowly dissippated by the steady carbonation. Overall - ok, even if the hop notes weren't really so obvious.

330ml bottle from trade courtesy of minutemat, cheers Mat! Pale yellow gold colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of citric hop. Taste is honey, floral, herby, fruity with citrusy hop notes. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry citric hop finish. Quite drinkable

330ml bottle from Ludlow Food Centre. Pours clear very pale yellow. Aroma is herbal, nettley, some mild citra. Nicely carbonated, interesting hoppy presence, not particularly zesty or citrussy but bears a crisp herbal bitterness, more honey notes here than the ginger mead. Interesting, refreshing, accessible.
