Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Pale golden, white wine color. Honey, ginger, herbal, medicinal, some alcohol, very sweet, spicy. Really not my thing.

Bottle from Beer Ambleside. Appearance - pale natural lemonade colour. No head really. Low carbonation. Nose - huge ginger note, almost ginger biscuits. Taste - confirmed. Ginger nuts. Lemon and honey edge. Palate - medium bodied, dry which was unexpected. Overall - the ginger was a bit too dominant.

330ml bottle from trade courtesy of minutemat, cheers Mat! Sparkling, very pale cloudy yellow, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of ginger, ginger ale. Taste is ginger, sweetish, honey, spicy, tangy, ginger beer. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry gingery finish. Quite OK

330ml bottle from Ludlow Food Centre. Drunk during the Corona virus outbreak. Pours absolutely clear, much like ginger beer. Aroma of ginger root. Lightly carbonated, pleasant ginger beer character.. expected more noticeable honey notes, very light and drinkable overall, no alcohol presence at all. Good, but not jumping out as a mead so marked down slightly.
