Sample, thanks Danlo! Black appearance, small beige head. Defined sweet rum aroma, excellent rum influence overall, with additional dried dark fruits and caramel.. oily slick on the palate. Punchy alcohol. Nice.

22/2/2020. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours almost black with a bubbly beige head. Aroma is very woody which is dominating much of the rum, with dried fruit, caramel, milk chocolate and a hint of rum coffee. Medium sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Full bodied, slick texture. For me the wood was too dominant on this one.

500ml bottle from Hop Knocker. Black brown colour, beige foam head leaving lacing and aroma of dark malt, raisins, woody, rum. Taste is malty, rum, dried fruity, wood barrel, boozy. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry boozy woody finish. Nicely drinkable.

Pours pitch black, oily, with a nice cappuccino coloured head. Massive smell of rum and solvents. Taste is big on the rum, but as it opens up more flavours start appearing. Licorice, treacle, oak. Mostly rum, though. Pretty sharp, little bit too much carbonation, quite alcoholic.. This beer has no bussiness being as tasty as it is.
