[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A golden amber pour with a thin white head; fruity malt aroma; then a jammy taste as if the malt was over boiled, but cut through by a firm woody bitterness; giving a bittersweet finish. Pining for the fjords? I don’t think so.

Cask @ The Tiddly, Ellerdine Heath. Pours clear amber, small off-white head. Light bodied, some thin woody malt, distant toffee shades, but generally fairly light on flavour. Not the best.
