On tap @ Patricks. Slightly unclear dark brown body with a nice, dense tan head. Nice aroma of caramel malt, dry fruit and a hint of pine. Quite strong aroma but it doesn’t feel overwhelming in any direction. The flavor is medium sweet malt, caramel, dry fruit and plenty of bitterhops. Fine and balanced body with a long lasting aftertaste that becomes even more bitter, but not unpleasant in any way. A very nice one from Ego this.

Draught @ Patricks Pub og Restaurant, Kristiansand
Pours slightly hazy brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, grape, orange and pine. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long citrus, fruity and piney finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 23.03.15. Muddy, greyish brown. Diminishing white head. Aroma of American hops and medium dark malts. Also a hint of green apples. Similar taste, with more American hops and fine bitterness. Good drinkability.

On tap at Patrick’s. It pours a dark reddish brown body, lightly hazy, with a creamy beige head leaving lacings. It’s lightly roasted on the nose, with some nutty hints, caramel and a good dash of resiny, piney hops. It’s full bodied and rather dry on the palate, a bit heavy on the carbonation. A nice bitterness is supported by roasted malts and some caramel sauce. Pine cones, resin and some citrus zest. Lasting finish where the bitterness does most of the work. Tasteful and easy drinkable this one, but perhaps a bit on the bitter side, even though I like it like this too. 150315

On tap at Smelteverket, Oslo. Very hazy brown with some reddish hue and off-white head. Hoppy and fairly fruity aroma with citrus, pine, sour berries and malt. Moderate sweet with nice hoppy flavours and a pleasant bitterness. Flavourful and sessionable.

Rerate, 500 ml bottle, batch #41, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.1%. Very cloudy reddish brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Aroma of piney and grapefruity hops, on a background of lightly roasted malts. Distinctly hoppy flavour, piney and grapefruity notes, sufficient malts with a roasty / coffee finish. Long and bitter aftertaste. A very drinkable beer! Original rating: Shared 500 ml bottle at a tasting with the brewer. Batch #13, ABV is 5.1%. Ruby colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of malts including some caramel and a hint of roast, and moderate grapefruity hops. Hints of red berries. Malty flavour first, hints of red berries again, then the hops take over with a distinct grapefruity bitterness. Well balanced, some coffee notes in the aftertaste.

A nice light unclear nutty/amber color with a lovely tan head that last a long time. Nice lacing. When it is a bit cold it has a fine hoppy aroma. A bit later grows some bready and fruity aromas up from the cellar. Fine body, and a nice balance between sweetness and bitterness. Average to soft carbonation. Kind of smooth/creamy texture. It is the same with the flavor. Very hoppy at first. Then bready, toffee, caramel and fruity. A really pleasant and tasty amber!
On tap at Halden Mikrobryggeri and from a bottle from The Brewery. Batch 13]
