October 2019: 330 ml bottle, brew #96, as Små Vesen Gýgr Amber Ale, from Bris Ølutsalg, Jørpeland. ABV is 4.7%. Reddish brown colour, small white head. Aroma of piney American hops, also notes of citrus. The flavour is also piney and moderately citric, medium dry. Moderate bitterness. Aroma røsted malt, kakao, sjokolade, kartell, humle. Utseende uklar gylden/rødbrun med offwhite skum. Smak kakao, røsted malt, karamell, humle. Middels fylde, moderat bitterhet, noe tørr i avslutningen. Smakt Juni -18

Hazed deep golden pour. Fine tan head, and a decent lacing. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Ok carbonation level and an ok balanced sweetness. Easy to drink. Herbal, malty, fruity and bready flavor. [Bottle from Mjorud]

Thank you chris for sharing this - Amber with an off white head - Malt aroma with some fruity and herbal hops aroma - Malt body with a fruity and herbal hop flavour that gives nice bitterness to balance - The malt and hop bitterness goes into the finish - This was nice

170ml draught at Ølhallen. Off-white head blanketing the glass, clear copper coloured body. Ripe citrus nose with a backdrop of malty sweetness. Mixed taste of leafy hops and caramel malts followed by a decent dry bitter end. Medium bodied. Pretty nice. (Tromsø 27.03.2018).

Fra fat på Ølhallen. Gylden. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Teppelacing. Aroma av malt med innslag av frukt. Smaken tørket frukt. Behagelig tørr ettersmak.
