On tap at Ølfestivalen, Nærbø. A small, dense, off-white head forms over an unclear copper colored body. Caramel, some nuts and grassy hops in the aroma. There’s a decent bitterness in the mouth, it’s full to medium bodied and nicely carbonated, with caramel maltyness, hints of nuts and bread and with grassy, faintly citrusy hops. Long finish. Not off in any way, but it’s a very boring IPA. 151017

My first from this brewery, and what a start. Almost no point writing something about it. Just go and but it!
Hazed golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. The rest is all the normal IPA stuff in a holy balanced mix. Grapefruit hoppy, pine and tropical. Mellow sweetness and a fine bitterness. Solid body and a fine carbonation. Can not find much wrong with this one.

50cl bottle from Vinmonpolet Linderud, Oslo. Pours slightly hazy amber with a medium off-white head. Hoppy and rather herbal and citrusy aroma with pine, notes of grass and hints of tropical fruits. Moderate to medium sweet with grapfruits and pine a bit dominating in the flavour and a fairly strong, but also quite balanced bitterness. More flavourfull and more bitterness than excepted. Certainly a decent IPA in my book.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Hazy brownish-orange-amber colour, moderate off-white head. Nice hoppy aroma, distinct notes of pine and spruce, also grapefruit. Medium dry flavour, pine needles and grapefruit, reasonably bitter. No obvious faults, this new brewery apparently has got a good grip of what they’re doing.
