375 ml bottle. Pour black with short tan head. Aroma of iodine, chocolate and slick roasted malts. Flavors of rich dark chocolate, soy sauce/umami, green apples/iodine/peat, and oily roasted malts. Nice sipper but end product would be so much better without the iodine notes. Similar to the 009, whatever barrel is injecting these notes should not be included.

Hyyuuba aldehyd? Albo jakies insze fuzlowe swinstwa? Nie, aromat ni kuta nie jest pociagajacy. W smaku lepiej, ale tez nie do konca, hlownie owocowo, z nalecialosciami flandersa... no nie, nieszalenczo. Smisznie, bo tez slodko. Nie wiem jak to ocenic

Bottle at home, from Siren online, 16/10/20. Celebrating Viktors half RB compelteion. Pitch black with a decent tan covering that dissipates to a handsome swirl. Nose is big port barrel tones, dried fruits, spice, dark chocolate, chocolate dipped raisins, dark malts. Taste comprises dried fruits, vinous tones, port barrel, fruit cake, cherry skins, chocolate, hint of red wine, spice, burnt toffee. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid complex Impy stout ... good barrel blend offered and great port based aroma.
