0.44 l can from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', best before June 2019. Clear, ruby with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish, gently fruity aroma of molasses, citrus and some raisins. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, malty, quite fruity taste of raisins, citrus, caramel, some molasses and a touch of tobacco, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, a little resiny and slightly warming finish. Medium to full body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid Barley Wine with a hoppy and fruity touch. A bit bland actually, not really what you would expect from an anniversary beer from Kees.

Can. Amber pour. Aroma of bubblegum, apple candy, malt and caramel. Taste has bubblegum, dusty apple candy, caramel, cardboard and quite some oxidation flavor. Not good, bad anniversary beer.
