This is the 13th Studio experiment: an ode to the work of Eric Carle, known for his famous drawings of Rupsje Nooitgenoeg. It's a cider referenten with beer in barrels for 11 months. We blended the result with some dry hopped cider

0.375 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', bottled in October 2018. A little hazy, pale golden with a few white bubbles on top of it. Slightly sweetish, sourish, rather fruity, slightly floral and a little spicy aroma of ripe apples, elderflower and gooseberry. A little sweet, moderately sourish, quite fruity, gently floral and minimally funky taste of ripe apples, gooseberry, elderflower, some oak and hints of barnyard, followed by a short, gently tart, quite dry finish. Medium body, a bit oily mouthfeel, almost flat. Very nice!

Bottle shared at THT February, a quality tasting. Hazy golden with white head. Apple and sour grain, soft floral grass, herbs and spices. Moderate sweet and bitter, light sour. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Sampled at THT February. Hazy yellow with not much head. Flowery, cow poop, soap, apple, soft glue, vinegar, sulphur. Just medium sweet, medium sour and light bitter. Almost medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at THT February. Fairly hazypale golden with a ring white head. Aroma of red apples, funk, woody notes and manure. Flavour is moderate sweet, bitter and light sour. Medium bodied with a dry finish and soft carbonation.
