This is the 13th Studio experiment: an ode to the work of Eric Carle, known for his famous drawings of Rupsje Nooitgenoeg. It's a cider referenten with beer in barrels for 11 months. We blended the result with some dry hopped cider

Bottle from Oedipus. Aroma is a bit herbal with soft bretty funk, citrus, grain, and notes of apple. Flavour is tart and moderate sourish. Lightly sweet, finishes a bit dry. Body is medium. Blended with Cider, but more Wild Ale. Good stuff.

37.5cl Fles van Oedipus webshop. Diepgouden kleur, geen kraag. Appel, appelcider, hout, vanille, lichte funk, citroenzuur, fris, hint van tabak, lichtzure finish. Lichte tot medium body. Prima.

Bottle. Golden fuzzy pour. Aroma of funk, horseblanket, apple, wheat, tart and citrus. Taste has juicy apple, cider funk, wheat, white grape, horseblanket, oak, a little vanilla and some acidic sourness. Nice hybrid of tart wild ale and cider, very tasty.

(Bottle, Oedipus Brewery & Taproom, Amsterdam, 29 Feb 2020) Pale golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with green apples, citrus and vinegar. Fruity, tart taste with notes of green apples, glue, vinegar, old sweaty socks and a tart/acidic finish. More than medium body, dry. A mixture of cider and sour ale, really tart and quite tasty. Nice one.

No head to see, hazy yellow beer. Sourish nose with a good dash of acetic - others maybe malonic? Bit of spices/herbs (rosemary?). Apple, appleskins. Sour, strangely more wild ale than cider, farmyard flavours, and again this fleeting hint of rosemary. Hints at fruitsugars, but most is clearly fermented. Further hints as from Lindenblossom.Light body, almost no carbonation. Dry, acidthinning. Nice, if a tad still. Better than the sum of its parts.

Tap at TCBW 2019. Pours yellow. Aroma and flavor are sour apples, dry, watery. Feels quite empty, like local ciders. Overall: drinkable.
