375ml bottle as Nevel Noest, thanks to MonsterMagnet for this! Pours a deep dark brown with ruby hints, off-white light beige head. Aroma sees a mild combination of red berry, liquorice, brett. Taste is similarly light with earthy leather, liquorice, red berry, gentle brett, molasses with gentle sour oud bruin notes. More brett would've been welcome and perhaps a sharper sour character but it's decent overall.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Bruna/nera, schiuma beige media. Al naso note di malti tostati, cioccolato amaro, bretta, leggero caffè. In bocca ha una lievissima acidità, con note di cioccolato e leggero caffè. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione media. Non male.

Small yellow-cream head over deep ruby-shot black beer. Bretts/wild yeasts, lactic acid, sourish nose at first. Then roast/burnt and rusty metalslug odours take over. Roast, burnt, rust, but also molasses, liquorice. Again wild yeasts, horseblanket, faint lactic acid present in the background. Hints at sweeter malts. Medium bodied at best, light acidthinning, medium carbonation. Bretts make it quite lean, maybe a tad too lean. Tastes OK.

Draught @ Van Moll brewpub. Brown color with a red glow. Average sized off-white head. Smell and taste both remind me of a porter with strawberries and brett. Although, at first I thought it would be some sort of Flemish red-brown. Turned out to be much better imo. Very well done, I like this one.

Tap at Kaapse brouwers. Dark mahogany with creamy dark beige head. Strong red currants, sour grainy notes, earthy roast, plums, it has a lot of tart earthy fruits, more so than toasty notes which are more subtle. Medium sour, light bitter and very light sweet. Under medium bodied. Solid.

29/IX/18 - on tap @ NieFest, DOK Brewing Company (Gent) - (2018-1511) Thanks to my wife for sharing tonight's beers!

Slightly cloudy rust red to red brown beer, creamy irregular beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very infected, unpleasant, lots of brett, funky, soft roast, some caramel. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: soft roast, bit watery, acidic, metallic touch, little dirty. Aftertaste: metallic, watery, soft roast, hint of chocolate.
