Craft Islington. Bottleshare. Thanks to Fergus for the can. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, fairly dry, modest fine carbonation. Fluffy sweetish malts. Very floral mid, sweetish. A tangy bitterness in counterbalance. Tangy dry pithy peely finish. Fine.

Can from M&S. Gold with a white head and far too much fizz for my liking. Good citrus aroma with a whiff of tropical fruit. Lots of grass and some more citrus in the flavour with an unexpected hint of summer berries. Quite an assertive bitterness in the finish, which the flavours don't suggest is coming and is possibly a tad too bitter to go with the beer. Pretty tasty for a lager though, enjoyed it except for the over-the-top fizz.

6/5/2018. Bottle from Honest Brew. Pours slightly hazy dark gold with a foamy off-white head. Aroma of hops, fruit, pine, light malt and grass. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation. Some increasing bitterness to finish. Decent.

330ml bottle (#2333/4104) from HonestBrew. Clear amber with a white head, good retention and lacing. Citrus fruits and pale malts on the nose. Taste is similar, pale malts, citrus fruits, big hit of grapefruit, lager yeast, clean and crisp with a surprisingly strong bitter finish. Light bodied, average carbonation. Not bad.
Sidenote: in all honesty the use of Blockchain technology during the brewing/bottling of this beer was far more interesting to me than the beer itself. Scanning the QR code on the label and being taken to a website and seeing numerous slides showing all the brewing info, times, temperatures, CO2 levels, sources and quantities of ingredients was pretty cool to see.
