Brewed in collaboration with Hop Burns & Black as part of their trilogy of collaborations to celebrate their 3rd birthday. This decadent blueberry and vanilla stout is packed with shedloads full of fresh blueberries with huge creaminess from vanilla and lactose, complemented with cardamom and superbly balanced with the finish of bitter roasted malt.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours black-brown with a frothy beige head that settles into a spotty cream. Fairly sweet, with some jammy berries, vague cinnamon (which I guess is cardamon), cocoa, soft roast. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Has some lightly charred sugars in the finish, bittersweet cocoa, nips of earthy hops, alcohol, burnt spices, blueberry accents. Not bad. Nicely integrated ingredients.

14/10/2018. Can from Hoppily. Pours very dark brown almost black with a large foamy beige head. Aroma of blueberries, coffee, liquorice, vanilla, chocolate, cardamom and malt. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Medium to full body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Sweet blueberry chocolate roasted finish. Very good.

330ml can. Almost black with a small dissipating tan head. Big hit of vanilla on the nose, blueberries also very evident, cardamom, hint of roasted malts. Taste is sweet, vanilla, creamy, blueberries come through much more in the finish, roasted malts are quite faint, slightly spicy from the cardamom, feels unnecessary. Medium body, smooth creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Best of the three collabs HB&B did.
