Purple Haze® is a lager brewed with real raspberries added after filtration. It is brewed with pilsner and wheat malts and Vanguard hops. The berries add a fruity aroma, tartly sweet taste and a subtle purple color and haze...you may see fruit pulp in the beer. This beer is best served with salads or light fruit desserts, such as soufflés or chiffon cakes. Many people enjoy it with chocolate desserts. Purple Haze® pairs well with certain cheeses, such as ripened Brie or any dessert made with mascarpone. It’s also great paired with entrees prepared with fruit, especially citrus. THT November. Bottle. Hazy golden with white head. Sweet malts, raspberries, lemonade, slightly cardboardy. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at THT. Bit hazy dark golden with soft blueish hue. Soft cooked raspberries, light dry malts, water, soft raspberry jam. Light sweet and bitter. Light bodied.

Pours a slightly purple/berry color. Has only a slightly sweet flavor, bit more of a tart fruit taste like an underripe berry.

Interesting beer. Pours well with a good head. Very good lager that has a great raspberry aftertaste. I was really impressed with this particular beer. Good beverage to try. wonderful raspberry aftertaste.

On tap at The Barn, SD. Dark golden with a small head. Thin with some raspberries and some light malt. The finish was on the sweet side.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with small foamy white head, malt aroma with faint berries, high carbonation, malty taste with a hint of raspberry, thin body, abrupt finish. Nothing spectacular here.
