440ml can. Pours black with a thick beige head. Aroma is very chocolatey, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, roast malt. Taste is sweet, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, roast malts, moderate bitterness stops this being sickly. Medium bodied, smooth, creamy, fine carbonation.

Can picked up from Favourite Beers, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, consumed at home, Thursday 8th August 2018 shared with Pours black with a slim beige head, a touch sticky with a nice sweetness, lactose bit too much. Roasty edge tails off a little. Good beer, chocolate shows, nice just a little lactose heavy. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.5

Can from Bottle Baron. Black body with a thick tan head that holds well. Good lacing. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, cocoa and charred wood. Flavour of chocolate ice-cream, liquorice, marshmallow and pistachio. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A delicious Sweet Stout. One of LHG’s best beers, in my opinion.
