German-hopped IPL, brewed with our friends from Northern Monk and Wylam Brewery.

A grist of Pils malt with a touch of ultra-light Caramel Pils malt makes for a smooth body which has been dry-hopped with a combo of Mittelfruh, Huell Melon and Hallertauer Blanc – think a smooth hoppy combo of apricots, tangerines and cantaloupe – delicious! 35 IBU, 6.8%, 15EBC.

Draft. A hazy yellow beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of lemons, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, hops, straw, and fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

Can. Hazy gold beer, big fluffy white head. Palate is light and mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, and miraculously I can taste some lager character here and some Czech style breadiness. Hops bring tangy pine, light floral bitterness. Light skunky green hop. The Huell Melon and Hallertau Blanc hops subtle flavours are slighty overwhelmed here but jt doesn't really matter, this is a fine and very rare example of an ISL that is plenty hoppy hut still tastes like a lager. Could drink a boatload of this.

440ml can. Pours golden with a light haze, big white head. Aroma is very fruity, mandarin, melon, also a bit tropical. Taste is the same, light sweetness, fruity, melon, mandarin, stone fruit, a touch of caramel, light bitter finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Very nice IPL.

Tried in a can from tiny rebel, Newport. Aroma fruity citrus and melon. Taste seeet to mid bitter. Light juicy and full body.
