440ml can. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, fresh, light herbal, juicy mango, passionfruit, light floral, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can picked up from Beer Gonzo Bottleshop, Earlsdon, Coventry, consumed at home Tuesday 29th May 2018 on a day when I wouldn't normally drink. Cooking Cream of Asparagus and Celery Soup. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Juicy and fruity (mostly tropical) with quite a good bitterness for the style, and whilst sweet, soft, creamy and juicy (again) and displaying all of those yawn....NEIPA usual characteristics this does finish a little dry. Like this a lot. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Can 440ml (BG, BBE 09/2018)
Deep amber colour, good beige head. Aroma has tropical fruits and yeastyness. Medium-bodied. Citrus, caramalts, fruits in the flavour. Crisp front. It has some juicyness but this is closer to "normal" American IPA than NEIPA. Like in the other beer of them I had, here too yeast flavours and malts knock out hop bite.

440ml can from Ghost Whale. BBE Sept 2018. Pours clear dark orange with a thick foamy head. Aroma of tropical fruits, caramely malts, pine and citrus. Taste is sweet, caramely malty and slightly tropical fruity with some citrus, pine, grass and earthiness. Finish is sweet, sticky and slightly stuffy with some tropical fruits, citrus, grapefruit and tangerine. Not really a NEIPA.
