From the first time we caught a whiff of Strata we couldn’t wait to SEE what we could do with it. We threw down a super soft and silky base of flaked and malted oats with a touch of wheat and post boil hit it with Simcoe and Idaho 7 before fermenting away with our favorite juicy yeast. Hopped to the brim with Strata, Idaho 7 and Simcoe lupulin. A wallop of tropical fruit hitting so hard that you’ll be seeing doubull!

Can split at Columbus, thanks to the Wingmane, 31/07/19. Hazed golden orange with a good sized just off white cap. Nose is ripe tropical fruits, melon, pine nip, orange pith, mango, guava. Taste comprises ripe melon, grapefruit, airy malts, pine resin, mango, orange zest. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy hop bitterness allied to a balanced rising boost. Tidy DIPA.

Can shared in London - cheers! Pours unclear golden-orange with a foamy, white head. Lightly faded pine is present, some citrus fruits, dry pale malts, pine needles. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with some further faded citrus. So so in this state.

Can from High Road Bottles, Lewisham. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Humongous amount of sweet, juicy fruit in the nose. Same, tasty action in the flavour. Packs quite a (fruit) punch.

473ml can. Murky golden with a creamy white head. Aroma of juicy tropical fruits, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, gooseberry. Taste is light sweet, fruity, gooseberry, pineapple, mango, grapefruit, wouldn't say it's particularly dank, maybe subtle, slight orange peel, bitter finish. Medium-full body, soft carbonation. Great DIPA.

Can. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy and slightly soft palate with decent superfine carbonation. Soft creamy sweet pale malts. Very nice malt base, spot on I would say. Strata, Idaho7 and Simcoe hops is a very enticing hop bill but does it deliver? Soft tropical fruits I would associate with Idaho7, not quite as candy tropical fruits. Soft orange from the Simcoe, quite luxuriant. Strata - I'm not sure here, I fancy a sweetish floral melon vibe but it's very well integrated. Touch of ripe strawberry? Hard to seperate my expectations from reality here because everything is so well layered together. Smooth finish, just a whisper of peel bitterness. A delightful DIPA, fruity and complex but smooth and drinkable.
