Can picked up from Beyond Beer Webshop Hamburg and consumed at Wohnmobil Stellplatz Bernau, Mr Chiemsee, Friday 28th May 2021 sat outside Frank camper, we had an excellent Chilli con Carne for tea tonight. Pours yolky yellowy colour with a big white head. Soft mouthfeel some, lemony, fresh, clean and possibly the best and most refreshing of the Deya beers tonight. Sweetness is not too pushy, smooth, and creamy. Good, in fact very good, the best of the evening and the Deya beers so far.

American style pale ale in the New England idiom, by this rising star in the British craft beer scene. Thanks 77ship for sharing the can. Snow white, mousy, quite dense and frothy, cobweb-lacing, stable head on a cloudy yellow blonde beer with slight olive-greenish tinge. Aroma of lime juice, cooked lemongrass, unripe mango, dough, lemon bread, Cape gooseberries, touch of chalk. Sweetish onset but restrainedly so, tad sourish, spritzy carbonation with – for the style – a lot of actually refreshing minerality; soft doughy malt core drenched in zesty hoppiness, more emphasizing citrusy aromas than tropical dankness – lime, pomelo, lemongrass with hints of unripe banana, dill and only vague background mango. The hops also provide adequate bitterness, providing body to the finish, which lends this light beer a fuller ‘image’ than one would expect based on ABV. Very well done, in that sense.

Can from HoTM> It pours hazy yellow - gold with a fluffy white cap. The aroma is fresh and fruity, lovely fruit cocktail character, melon, zingy, tangerine, peach, nectarine, some blossom, pine and summer meadow. The taste is nice dryness upfront, light bitterness, orange blossom, pithy, zingy, tropical fruits, there is some greenness, weed, pine needles, touch of spice and some minerality with a dry, pithy finish. Light to medium body and moderate, massaging carbonation. Bright and quaffable. Nice session gear.
