We're excited to keep experimenting with California IPA, a style crisp, clean and refreshing on the palate. In this iteration we're using Nelson Sauvin hops for some amazing white grape and gooseberry notes. This is in addition to the sticky, tropical and resinous flavours that we love so much in these beers, driven by Citra, Simcoe and Hallertau Blanc.

[44cl can from Beer52.] A hazy amber pour with a thin white head; aroma of white grape and gooseberry with some pine resin in the background; crisp and refreshing in the mouth with a dry wine must body with some tart gooseberry and under ripe mango;and a satisfy finish with sharp grapefruit and biscuit and a gentle warmth in the gullet. Excellent.

Tall can from Brewcraft at home. Very slightly translucent orange copper pour with dissipating fine white head. Aroma is really nice - tropical and resinous, very ripe orange and pineapple, some melon, light white grape. Taste is bitter resin dankness, with white grape, citrus, less tropical. Sharp bitter finish with alcohol warmth. Palate is medium to full body. Delicious. Would definitely get again. One of the best Siren beers I’ve had. Similar to Stone’s Fear Movie Lions.

Can at home picked up from Siren online. A mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a lasting sticky loose white head. Aroma is big resinous pine, diesel, sticky citrus, hint of toffee, woody grapefruit. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, biscuity malts, hint of toffee, sappy pine, nelson, sticky orange. Firm citrus and pine bitterness. Palate is semi sweet, resin, sticky orange rind, moderate carbonation. Really solid west ipa.

440ml can. Golden orange, light haze, white head. Aroma of orange, grass, pine, grapefruit. Taste of orange and grapefruit, grassy, a bit of grape and gooseberry, earthy pine, resinous, bitter finish. Medium body. Think the original was slightly better but it's a solid westie.

Rocky white head left a froth on an unclear gold body. Punchy aroma with confectionery & tropical. Medium bodied, pillowy with a cloying back. Bitter, pithy, caramel, pine, garlic & stone fruit tastes with a hoppy sweet citrus finish.
