Can picked up from Hoptimism website, Loughborough, Leicestershire, UK consumed at home Thursday 26th November 2020 whilst listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6Music, we had a takeaway pizza for tea. Pours murky yellowy gold with a white head. Really soft in the mouth, sweetness shows, a little bit of mango, juicy with some citrussy undertow. Good.

Can from Bottles & Books. Murky golden body with a thin head that fades. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of mango and orange jelly. Flavour of pineapple, dried mango and glue with a boozy finish. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A touch boozy but decent overall. I’ve had several Pentrich beers based on some incredible average scores on Untappd but in my experience they flatter to deceive.

440ml can. Murky golden orange, thinnest of white heads. Aroma of grape, gooseberry, weed, pine, alcohol. Taste is very boozy, predominantly alcohol with the hops coming in after, gooseberry, grape, and very piney finish, alcohol burn. Medium body. Shame this is way too boozy for a 9% DIPA, every 10+% TIPA I've had this year has been far more drinkable than this.

Can. Hazy darkish orange beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts sweet enough. Hops are fairly ripe citrus with a light pine, mild skunk and a light but most unwelcome soapy tone. Light semi dry finish. Nah, don't want to drink much of this.
