A proper dark, deep and roasty stout that has a real depth of flavour, owed mainly to the complex malt bill - 35 sacks with 8 different malts. This is combined with heaps of coffee, lashings of cacao nibs, with sweet vanilla and Tonka beans adding to the tapestry. Clocking in at 7.5% this is a real armchair beer.

Can. Lovely beer shared with my brother and girlfriend. Pours black with little head. aroma is chocolate, coffee, milk. Medium body. Flavour is dark malts, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, tonka. Some milk chocolate which is pronounced. Finish is bittersweet. Lovely.

440ml can. Pitch black with a tan head. Aroma of tonka, coffee, dark chocolate, roast malt. Taste is sweet, rich tonka beans, dark chocolate, roast/coffee, vanilla, a tad stronger than I expected for a 7.5%. Medium bodied. Tasty stuff.

Opaque colour, small brownish head. Roasted malts, sweetish cocoa and perfumic tonka beans in the nose. Medium-bodied. Flavour is similar: roasted malts with sweetness, coffee, cocoa and tonka beans. Smooth palate. Very Dugges-like. Everything is ok here except tonka beans... they just don't work in beers.
