Originally released on the Winter Solstice, we wanted to create two complimentary and equally decadent Imperial Stouts to enjoy on the cold evenings, Cassiopeia and Perseus were born. (We can confirm these Impys are just as good on warm day...We just like Imperial Stouts!)
Our half, Cassiopeia, is a chocolately treat with notes of caramel sugar and subtle salt, supported by a body that’s smooth and luxurious!
The artwork on both cans was also a collaboration. To highlight the Winter Solstice, the phases of the moon become a shared motif on both cans and allow the artwork to flow through both cans when put together. Cassiopeia and Perseus are neighbouring constellations to reflect the closeness of our two breweries!

Canned beginning December 2019. Big sweet stout. Soft, lightly boozy. Very sweet, with loads of caramel and chocolate. Bit salty too. Very tasty, but maybe a bit too one dimensional? Could use some bitterness or roast. Nice, but glad I could share it.

Draft. A very dark brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, alcohol, caramel, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, roasted malt, alcohol, and salt, leading to a dry finish. A bit odd with the salt.

440ml can. Black with a thick beige head. Aroma of caramel, dark chocolate, slightly fruity. Taste is very very sweet, salted caramel, chocolate, a bit fruity (strawberry? not mentioned), and a bit lactose-y (also not mentioned), just a slight roasty malt bitterness, boozy. Medium-full bodied. Very nice but the 440 is too much, surprised they didn't put this in their little 250's.

Can picked up from Beer Gonzo, Earlsdon, Coventry, consumed at Campingplätz Franzlhof, Söll, Austria Friday 21st February 2020. Pours black with an off white head. Ok this may not have lactose in like the previous Impy but it tastes like it does, A bit too artificial for me. Struggling with this, in fact had to throw most of it, I really wanted to like this but not happening ☹️.
