18/3/2019. Bottle, sample, courtesy of Danlo, cheers Ed! Pours golden with no head. Aroma first brought back memories of fairground toffee apples, with semi-sweet and green apples coming through as the initial sweet caramel toffee subsided, along with hints of wood and leather. Light to moderate sweetness, medium tartness. Medium body, sticky but watery texture, soft to flat carbonation. Dry, tart finish, with lingering sweetness on the lips. Liked this.

375ml bottle. 10.5%. Recolte 2016. Golden colour, no head and aroma of fruity, apple pie, butterscotch. Taste is sweet and tart, concentrated apple, caramel, with warm boozy notes. Oily mouthfeel, low carbonation, slightly tart residual sweet finish. Nicely sippable.

2012 vintage. Bottle sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a clear light golden. Nose brings out light caramelized apples, toffee, and light candied sugar. Flavour is actually quite light for an ice cider, with light caramelized apples, medium sweetness for an ice cider, and some toffee. Moderate alcohol burn. Low-to-medium complexity for an ice cider, but still lovely.
