1/3 pint, festival cask beer, 4 % abv, at Roebuck Inn (JDW). Shared with Finn. Clear copper coloured body, remaining beige head, clingy lacing. Inviting smell of leafy hops and earth-like malts. Dark bread, caramel malts, and a backdrop of biscuit to the taste character. Bittersweet tail. Pretty tasty English bitter. (Nottingham 12.10.2022).

Cask at North Western, Liverpool. Pours a golden amber with a small off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is mainly autumn fruits. In he mouth it is slightly sweet, and somewhat watery with main flavour being hops (somewhere between traditional and floral). Autumn fruits and nuts as well with some hints of spices later. Finish is a little bitter. It’s OK, but rather bland.

Wetherspoon Autumn Beer Festival 2019. Cask @ Leeds Station Wetherspoon, Leeds. Deeper golden with a creamy head. It’s hopped but with a crispness and a light dryness, which dominates its character. There’s not too many flavours here though.
