Draft at dBs. Slight hazy. Dry apple, quite tannic, oak, tart apple, apple peel. Not sweet, light sour and bitter. Medium bodied, very dry. Quite nice.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy yellow with some bubbles initially that result in an unexpected head, which then subsides mostly. Nose - farmyard, stewed apple. Taste - earthy, bruised apples and stewed apples. Palate - medium bodied, tangy middle with high acidity on the finish. Good linger with very low carbonation. Overall - a bit challenging but good.

500ml bottle, 5.8% from Scrattings. Golden colour, some short-lived fizzy bubbles on top and aroma of mucky apples, funk. Taste is sweetish, then zingy, fruity apple, white-wine like hints, some funky notes and mellow citric acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying zesty citric finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle at 6.8%, picked up at Cotteridge Wines. It pours clear yellow - gold with a quickly dissipating white head. The aroma is earthy, funky, farmyard, apple skin, lemon zest, sherbet, white grape and gooseberry. The taste is crisp, clean, bright lemon zest, sherbet, some acidity, tartness, tannins, earthy, pale skin and farmyard with a pretty dry finish . Medium body and fine carbonation. Wow. Pretty impressive. Bright and dry. Great stuff.

Polycask at Banbury Beer Festival, Oxon, 07-05-09 Pours light straw colour, touch floral on the nose but also a little farmyard. This is really quite a full on cider, very dry and its almost like cider with a goodly splash of jiffy lemon in it. This is really nice, a real palate cleanser though and a mouth puckeringly dry and challenging cider at times, was loved more than loathed by all who tried it though. A7 A4 F8 P4 Ov15 3.8
