Sample thanks to Grumbo. Misty yellow looks, aroma brings distinct sulphur. Taste brings wild apple yeast, strong acidity, sulphur, apple pie crust, flan. Bit of an assault on the palate at first but it becomes more bearable on subsequent sips. Rough and farmhousey overall.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a yellowish clear with no head. Aroma is pungent fruit. Taste is nice crisp pie crust and fruit, seems more apple than pear to me.

17/2/2021. Bottle from Norfolk Food & Drink Co, Cromer. Pours still clear pale gold with no head. Aroma of sweet pear, a little funk, lots of solvent initially, some biscuit developing. Heavy syrupy sweetness, with a quick hit of sour. Medium body, no carbonation. Kind of grew on me and enjoyed it more once the solvent aroma had subsided.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pale yellow colour, no head and aroma of solventy pear, biscuit. Taste is sweet, pear, syrupy, cardboard, biscuity, with solvent, light funk, sugary. Medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering sweet and solvent finish. OK, tastes abit oxidised and overly sweetened to me.
