Halifax Beer Festival 2023. Clear copper-amber in appearance. Certainly a bitter with a few caramels in taste, and it's quite smooth too

Was sure I'd had this before. Seems I didn't check in. Decent.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - amber with an off white head. Nose - burnt toffee, dry biscuit or brown bread. Taste - toffee to caramel, dry bread again. Palate - creamy texture and a bit sweet. Light to medium bodied. Overall - a bit on the sweet side for my taste.

Cask-conditioned at the Slip Inn, York 4 March 2018. Amer in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. An easy-drinking bitter, with some crisp malts, hedgerow fruits and moderately bitter finish. Fine.
