Hop & Liefde (Hop & Love) is formally known as Pale Ale Citra and one of our biggest selling light ales. Very refreshing and it makes you want more after the first. Very floral, lots of citrus, light grassy and light bodied. Flavor indication: Citrus, grassy, floral, bitter The name Pale Ale Citra is still used for the export to Sweden.

Light and hoppy. Nice, but lacking in flavor. Would have been way better with hate instead of love. Bottled on 20-4-2015.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a light copper with a huge soapy white head that lasts throughout. Big citra hop aromas: ruby red grapefruit, orange zest and iyokan with some green pineapple and papaya. Crackery malt character with a nice refreshing crisp zing on the palate. Bitter but with nice fruit character to balance out. Body seemed a tad thin at the end however. Still really enjoyable.

(Bottle, Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 30 Aug 2015) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with citrus, grapefruit, orange peel and some crisp-bread. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of crisp-bread, citrus, grapefruit, orange peel and a dry finish with a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty, with a good hop character. Nice one.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. A murky amber pour with a lacy white head; apricot aroma; crisp citrusy taste; and a clean finish. A pleasant APA.

33 cl. bottle from Systembolaget as De Molen Pale Ale Citra. Poured in to a Tulip. Cloudy amber-golden colour with a dense, off-white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, peach, sweet exotic fruits, caramel malts and grasses. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with citrus and exotic fruits. Very enjoyable APA.

Bottle, as Pale Ale Citra. Amber with a small off white head. Aroma of herbal lemon, mandarins, flowers, caramel, pine. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Not as sweet as suggested by the aroma with my impression of caramel just wrong. Some crackers, lots of citrus, floral and some herbal and pine notes. Brief flash of bitterness. A good hoppy quaffer.

Draft. Cloudy deep gold body. Frothy, off-white head. Aroma of orange, citrus, floral hops. Hint of grass and toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, moderate carbonation. Taste of citrus and floral hops. Touch of grapefruit. Nicely balanced. Juicy though a bit thin in the flavor department.
