Bird Brewery vliegt in 2018 het hele land door en brouwt in iedere provincie met één van de smaakmakers. In Groningen brouwt het samen met het Baxbier. De Groningse brouwerij maakt de afgelopen jaren furore en valt nationaal en internationaal veelvuldig in de prijzen.
Deze frisse saison is gebrouwen met de traditionele Belle Saison gist. Het geeft het bier een droge, kruidige smaak en dat combineert heerlijk met de fruitige hoppen. Fly High, al gaat er niets boven Groningen!

F: big, white, good retention. C: dark gold with yeasty veils, hazy. A: malty, spicy, yeasty, grassy, bit orange, floral. T: malty, spicy, orange peels, coriander touch, floral, white pepper, light oily mouthfeel, grassy, medium to full body and higher carbonation, long lasting dry harmonic bitterness, taste is better than aroma so at least ok for me, enjoyed yet bit too strong saison, 33cl bottle from Beerwulf webshop.

0.33 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', best before May 2019. Clear, golden amber with a massive, dense, stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity-grassy, floral and a bit yeasty-spicy aroma of lemon peel, hay, some clove and a touch of dill. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, grassy, yeasty-spicy, moderately fruity and slightly floral taste of hay, crackers, lemon peel, clove and some dill, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, fairly dry, rather yeasty-spicy and moderately grassy finish with hints of alcohol. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Nice Saison, just a little too boozy to be really refreshing.

Bottle shared at home. Slightly unclear bright golden with white head. Sweet malts, barley, orange peel, coriander, spicy yeast, white pepper, crispy grainy. Moderate sweet and quite bitter. Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Hazy golden with huge fluffy white head. Lots of spicy saison yeast, light apples, peach, bitter grassy hops, light bready. Basically lots of spicy yeast and quite strong grassy hops with a nice balance of sweet bready malts. Medium bodied. Nothing too complex or exciting, but quite drinkeable, though it is quite bitter.

bottle golden with a full white head not a lot of carbonation in the glass. Aroma of citrus, wheat, grass, herbs, weeds, straw, hay, saison yeast, ok. Taste is soft, nice carbonation, citrus, straw, cereal, bread, malts, dry finish, sour notes, typical saison flavors, light peppery, grass, average bitterness, medium sweetness, soft carbonation, did like the aroma better then the flavors. average body.
