25/3/2021. Bottle from Tebay Services. Pours clear deep golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malts, grain, fruit, touch earthy. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness, with some nice berry notes. Moderate body, oily texture, above average carbonation initially though it calmed somewhat. Quite sweet finish. Above average GF beer.

Bottle from Beer Ambleside. Appearance - amber rather than golden. Fluffy slightly off white head. Nose - tonnes of toffee plus some cake. Maybe some biscuity spice. Taste - spiced, fruit cake with a load of toffee still. Palate - light to medium bodied. Creamy texture. Dry-ish finish considering all the toffee notes. Overall - decent. More of a bitter than a golden ale.
