Best before 08/25, opening this bottle on saturday at Haute-Nendaz, preparing an exam for my job. Personally, I prefer this one than the Löwenbrau version, smooth, malty, more dry with a subtle touch of bitterness, typical German bitterness.

Bottle shared at MONYO, courtesy of Gabi. Pours deep, semi opaque golden with a finger wide white head. Nose is sweet malts, hay and bread. Taste is perfectly balanced sweet hay and bready malts and just a hints of noble hoppy character and a light bitterness. Closes with a bready-honey sweetish malty finish, has a light to medium body and average cabonation.

Golden pour, a little lighter that I would expect. Nice grassy nose with some soft German hops. Lots of nice biscuity malts, some good breadiness too. A nice malty lager I really enjoyed it.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per l'orzo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto trasparente. La frizzantezza si presenta sotto forma di bollicine medio-fini, con carbonazione vivace. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al palato arrivano note di miele, cereali, erba e agrumi.

Schöne, mäßig stabile Schaumkrone, in der Nase zurückhaltend mit hellmalziger und leicht grasig-hopfiger Aromatik, im Geschmack leicht würzig und malzig, etwas Süße, alles sehr ausgeglichen, könnte etwas mehr Körper vertragen. Insgesamt ein sehr solides Festbier.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is grainy malt with straw, light toast, and soft noble hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a mild but noticeable alcoholic finish. Body is medium. Sturdy grainy malt aroma but lacks smoothness with its alcoholic notes.

Аромат сразу очень солодовый и в меру сладкий, оттенки самого зерна, немного яблок и карамели с медовыми ассоциациями. Цвет как у лагера, но плотность сильнее, пенка весьма дельная, белая. Вкус тоже на уровне, даже неожиданно. очень приятная сладость, немного карамели, уже больше меда, даже как будто намеки на патоку. При глотке груша. В целом очень приятно.

Old rating from 2010 - 500ml bottle, pours golden with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of bread, caramel, honey, grain, grass & malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish

Deep gold in color with a three-finger head. Aroma is malty grains. Taste is also malty grains.
