330 ml can, as Bådin Art by Accident Lakrisstout, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.4%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Distinct aroma of liquorice, also notes of roast malts. Good mouthfeel for its ABV. The flavour is not too sweet, but has again distinct notes of liquorice, also notes of roast malts, chocolate and mild coffee. Very enjoyable.

Can. Dark brown, almost black body under a nice, dense café latte style head. Aroma is totally dominated by salt licorices. Taste is sweet with lots of salt licorices and hardly anything else. Balanced body and licorices in aftertaste are hardly any surprise. It’s definitively living up to the description as licorices stout, and the accident part of the name had to be referring to someone dropped way too much licorices in the batch. I definitely love licorices and the taste of liquid licorices as this is, but I also prefer some kind of malt and other beer related flavors is my beer.

Can. A reddish dark brown beer with a small beige head. Lots of licorice in the aroma, with some roasted malts and a touch of dark dried fruits. It's smooth and medium bodied, with a good sweetness. Sweet, licorice flavor with little else going on. Long licorice finish. You need to love licorice to enjoy this. 201231

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A stable fawn-coloured head to a pitch black body. Scattered lacing. Inviting smell of grainy dark malts with a distinct scent of liquorice. Liquorice, not overdone, to the fore of the taste profile added by chocolate malts and a herbal touch. Sweet and salty ending, well balanced. Fine depth to it. Likable and repeatable. (Tromsø 27.11.2020).

Can at home. Pours a dark brown to black colour with a beige head. Aroma of salty licorice, soy sauce, milk chocolate and ash. Flavour of salty licorice and nice roasted ending with ash and coffee. Actually taste a bit salty as well. Has a slick and silky mouthfeel, medium body and a light bitterness. Heavy licorice through and through. A bit too much for me. If you love licorice, this is heaven.
