Bottle 500ml @ yngwie Pours dark reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma has notes of malt, chocolate, dried fruits, prune, apricot, brown sugar and caramel. Taste is heavy sweet and light bitter with a long warm, dried fruity, chocolate, caramel and brown sugar finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Very dark brown with lasting soapy head. Aroma is packed full of raisins and fresh tobacco. Also a sweet, spicy cake element. Tastes of booze soaked raisins. Malt loaf. Really rich and warming.

500 ml bottle, vintage 2022, batch #2586, from Vinmonopolet Egersund. ABV is 15.5%, IBU 30. Hazy dark brown to black colour, small tan head. Aroma of dark malts, molasses, brown sugar. Fairly sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, also dark dried fruits, moderate bittering hops, warming mouthfeel.

Draft. A very dark brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of candy sugar, alcohol, dried fruits, yeast, and a bit of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of candy sugar, herbs, dried fruits, wood, and yeast, leading to a dry finish.

50 cl bottle @ Hatanpää tasting room. Batch #2246, bottled 25.03.2020, BBE 01.02.2030 Aroma has licorice, some fruity yeast. Flavour has salty licorice, some ash and warming alcohol. Hides the ABV rather well. Quite what it promises to be; a boosted version of God Jul.

Bottle from SB, had at Midsummer. Dark brown wit beige head. Dates, liquorice, some roast, toffee, bread, ash. Start quite harsh but opens up with time and warmth. Nice sipper.
