Unusual dull NØ beer Not much rhubarb either Cloudy yellow pour with a small head Moderate intensity in the aroma A bit dry this one. Also some acidic notes Herbal, pale malt, some yeast and very mild rhubarb. Probably because I know it is rhubarb in this one [Bottle from Vinmonopolet at Torvbyen in Fredrikstad, Norway]

Bottle. Didn’t believe a deviation at just 0,5 % alcohol qualified for a new listing, but when one administrator starts rating, I had my score ready. Its an unclear orange/yellow body under a huge white head. Aroma has pale malt, wheat, yeast, flowers and some kind of fruitiness that not necessarily has to be rhubarb but I have to assume is rhubarb according to the label. Taste is refreshing and light and feels somewhere between a blond and a wheat with some acidic fruit added. Again, I don’t know if I had guessed rhubarb if not knowing, but some of the bitterness here is quite distinct and I got the same kind of bitterness at my tongue when tasting fresh spring rhubarb from the garden. Body is light but balanced and the aftertaste is nice and fresh with the same flavors and indicates a bit more the wheat part of the beer. All in all, a pretty uncomplicated, refreshing fruit beer that seems to be closer to a wheat beer than the previous 4,5% version that was closer to a blond in base flavor.
