A Hazy IPA with low bitterness, but big hop character. We like to make beers we like to drink - this is one style we can’t ignore. Sit back and enjoy our tropical-breakfast-juice-like IPA packed with exciting new hops.
Nebula is a showcase of yeast embracing hops. The Vermont Ale Yeast, is responsible for the hazy appearance as it clings to the hop particles left over from extreme dry hopping. The yeast actually contributes a whole host of fruity esters, which can come across as peachy by themselves but in the end they blend seamlessly into the tropical hop profile we have selected.
MALT: Golden Promise, Oats
HOPS: Vic Secret, Huell Melon, German Cascade
YEAST: Vermont Ale Yeast

Can BBE in 7 months. Cloudy orange, small white head, decent lacing. Tropical aroma with particular note on grapefruit, pineapple, mandarin. Taste comes through quite juicy with particular emphasis on the mandarin. Light to moderate body, lowish bitterness, soft carbonation, fairly smooth. Easy to drink and very nice.

Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Pours hazy yellow with a lasting, thin, frothy, white head. Aroma of guava, passionfruit, lime, mango, tangerine, dough, starfruit. Taste has sweetish guavua, pineapple & mandarin, bittersweet mango & grapefruit over cereally-bready maltiness, quite zesty throughout. Ends dry, floral & earthy hops giving off juicy yellow fruit, some spices & tangerine/grapefruit peel. Medium body, slick/chalky texture, soft carbonation. Not quite fully juicy when it comes to NEIPA but certainly hoppy enough, and quenching.

Hazy IPA coming from a brewery I do not associate with the style at all - but as they formulate it themselves, this is one style we cannot ignore... Can from BeerFreakChick in Ghent. Thick and pillowy, frothy, tightly plaster-like lacing, beaten egg-like, uneven-bubbled and very irregular but largely stable head on a cloudy to even milky, pale beige-tinged yellow blonde beer with deeper apricot hue in its core. Aroma of yellow curry powder (strongly so even - weird!), green mango, dried ginger, unripe pineapple, old crumbled rusk, Cape gooseberry, dried grapefruit peel, lemon zest, dough, lemonbalm, vague whiffs of lime, bread crust, dried rosemary, whipped vanilla cream, quince, chalk, camomile. Juicy onset, sweetish but - especially for the style - quite restrainedly so, yet still packed with fruitiness reminiscent of unripe mango, Conference pear and green banana with a dash of starfruit and a slight peachy note that briefly pops up; soft carb, soft, bit powdery but somewhat thinnish mouthfeel. Some minerally elements accompany a white-bready, bit doughy maltiness that becomes a tad 'bare' in the middle - in the sense that it is not, as is usually the case in this kind of beers, immediately drenched in hoppiness; this effect does come in right at the middle, though, in a full-fledged, aromatic and somewhat 'yellow-green'-like form, with that yellow curry powder and dried ginger powder aspect returning retronasally, accompanied by hints of (unripe) mango and starfruit, with a citric edge (grapefruit pith). The latter connects with a soft grapefruity bitterness that is deposited on the root of the tongue, but this bitterness, even if a bit 'green-herbal' in character too, remains fairly brief and altogether gentle. Ends with a vague chalky note and a tangy zestiness, though, filling the back of the mouth in a lively, 'sunny' manner. Maybe just because of this somewhat sharper zestiness and slightly more outspoken herbal bitterness than is averagely the case in a NEIPA, I certainly enjoyed drinking this one, even if Wild Beer still has a long way to go if they want to compete with fellow English brewery Cloudwater in the hazy IPA segment. This is a very praiseworthy and convincing attempt, though, proving that Wild Beer still functions well in the top league of postmodern British craft breweries. I should drink Wild Beer more often...

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5%. Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Distinct aroma of pine, spruce, citrus, peaches and tropical fruits. Very refreshing flavour, distinct notes of citrus and tropical fruits, some fruity sweetness but not too much, moderate notes of spruce.

Can. Blonde, cloudy. Fresh hops, grass and citrus in the aroma and flavor. Malty sweetish flavor with white pepper and passion fruit. A lovely fruity hop bomb.
