330ml draught at Ølhallen. Hazy orange coloured body under a firm white head blanketing the glass. Inviting fresh saison fruity smell, nicely spiced. Blended saison fruity taste including grass, citrus and hints of yeast, joined by spices and bread-like malts. Ends with decent fruit bitterness, mid-dry. Fine depth. Refreshing and likable. 750 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Sauda. ABV is 6%. Hops are Northern Brewer, EKG, Styrian Bobek and Tettnanger. Nearly clear golden colour, large white head. Pleasant aroma of spicy saison yeast and herbal and floral hops. The flavour has the same elements, also hints of gooseberries and white grapes, medium bitter finish. Very drinkable, with food or on it own.

Bottle. The colour is hazy amber wiith an off-white head. Aroma of hay, phenols, cloves, white bread and some lime. Flavour of grass, wet hay, bread, phenols and some pepper. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a light to medium bitterness. Decent but a bit careful.

Fra fat på Royal Gourmetburger & Gin, sammen med Børge okt-29: uklar gylden med fint skum som varer hele dagen. Kinn skuffer aldri, dette er saftige og smakfulle saker. Krydderhage, stikkelsbær, søt appelsinmarmelade og drikkeglede.

Bottle. Unclear golden body under a big, dense white head. Aroma is classic Belgium Saison, mild pale malt, wheat, Belgium spicy yeast, esters, mild citric fruit, hint of pepper and herbs. Taste goes in the same classic Belgium Saison category, fruity, yeasty, spicy similar to aroma. As always with a Belgium Saison it could be difficult to describe, but there is a subdue but distinct aroma and taste that just has to be recognized and appreciated by experience. This is an impressive interpretation of a Belgium Saison, probably the best Norwegian sample I have tasted. Highly appreciated.

Lys brun noe tåkete med beige skum. Lukter knipbrød, gjær og korn. Middels fylde og bitterhet, søtlig maltig, noe floralsk.

Bottle shared with JMD and ED on board Fridtjofen 03.08.20. Cloudy straw colour. Off-white head and lacing. Aroma and taste of heather honey, green and brown bananas, grass, coriander and wheat.
