Strong smoke aroma, ham and beechwood. The flavor is just a bit extreme. Beechwood especially. Fruity esters are severely restricted. Too much for me, I’m afraid.

Pours a light semi-clear brown with a dense slightly off-white head, that shows very good retention and lacing. Quite subdued aroma shows caramel and dark bread with a light smoky note (ashes like, probably not much else). Taste follows the aroma, again with not too much intensity. Medium to high sweetness, medium to low bitterness, balanced enough semi-sweet finish, with a bit of a sticky feel in the last sips. Light to medium in body with light to medium carbonation; quite smooth, easy mouthfeel. Nothing worth noticing here, still very much acceptable, but a far from brilliant example of the style.

500ml bottle. Pours clear brown with a medium-sizes beige head. Aroma is smoke, caramel, bready. Taste is light sweet, smoke, malt. Light bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours foggy chestnut brown. Two finger tall off- white head. Average lacing. Aroma: smoked, caramel malts, dried fruit. Light plus body. Taste: malty, smoked, cheesy, low to light bitterness. Pleasant one.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Clear reddish brown with beige head. Caramel, quite some smoke, earthy dead leaves, swimming pool, bready, ash, light 🐐 goat, dried plums. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with oily feel. Meh.
