Saison originated in Wallonia, the French speaking part of Belgium. It was traditionally brewed for the summer season to refresh farm workers during the harvest. With this accessible, citrusy beer we offer you a refreshing break from the heavy hopped IPAs. To achieve this we used only the classic European hops and dedicated saison yeast.
It smells of fruit, cloves and herbs; tastes slightly tart, subtly bitter and dry. Lively and yet delicate carbonation makes it exceptionally fresh and quaffable, ideal for the warmer season. Personally, we like to open and close the night with this one.
Be sure to try our fortified version of that beer – Szczyt Sezonu.

Tap at Strefa. Barnyadry nose, spicy, lemon, acid, minerals. Hazy gold. Bit tart, malty, honey, lemon, spicy yeast. Funky and a bit sour, though not in either a nasty infected way, nor a proper sour. Not bad.

0,5 flaske fra Ninkaisra København, siste kveld i lejligheden jan-18: let uklar lys gylden med godt skum der holder følge helt til bunds. Dejligt saisonpræg med krydder, urter, stald/halm, banan og goft modne lyse frugter. Behagelig bitterhed med kledlig citrus. Meget let drikkelig, særlig for en saison-fan som mig.

50cl bottle. BB 28.03.2018. A hazy yellow beer with a huge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of dry medium sweet banana, wheat, yeast, some floral hops. Taste of herbal malt, wheat, mild banana, yeast, not too sweet, spicy.

Bottle at home thanks to Gebels for the local swap box! Clear golden with bright white head. Up front there’s quite some spicy yeast with cloves and coriander and a bit of allspice. Light bready malts and a bit of dough, there’s also some buckwheat type aromas. Under medium sweet and bitter. Just medium bodied with doughy feel. A bit too much spices for my taste but not a bad beer.

Barwa złota, zamglone, piana biała, umiarkowanie obfita, dość grube pęcherze, średnio trwała. W aromacie fenolowo, owoce, głównie brzoskwinie, skórka pomarańczy, przyprawy, trochę nut kwaśno-octowych jakby. W smaku wytrawne, lekko kwaskowe, sporo brzoskwiń, gruszek, skórki gorzkiej pomarańczy, nieco przypraw. Goryczka średnia minimalnie do wysokiej, mimo, że teoretycznie tylko 25 IBU, wysycenia nieco brakuje, treściowość nieco poniżej średniej, pije się nieźle, lekko piecze od przypraw i alkoholu. Niezły Saison, ale niczym szczególnym nie powala, aromat nie jest szczególnie intensywny, tak poza tym bardzo solidne piwo.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a creamy, white head. Yeasty, fruity nose. Medium body, yeasty, bubblegum esters, slightly tart, solid late bitterness. Refreshing. 271216

Tap at Pub vs Pub, Kiev. Fruity, estery and spicy, but somehow too tart seems a bit sourish. The taste is generic Belgian pale ale, more like thinnish than dry. Not bad as a table beer.

Many thanks for this beer to Grzesiek79. Pours a hazy orange color. Fruity aroma has hints of malt. Flavor has firm notes of pear, apple and sweet malt, refreshing and pleasing.

Golden colour, hazy, small head. Aroma is floral, a bit funky, some malt, a bit of pine. Medium bitterness, light sweetness. Medium body, light carbonation. Very good!
