Aroma of roast malts, coffee, cocoa / dark chocolate and bourbon. Sweet and salty flavour, lots of chocolate / cocoa, also notes of coffee and bourbon. Moderate bitterness.

0,33 litre Bottle, from Vinmonopolet somewhere! (Likely Lillehammer) Almost Black with little head. Roasted malts, Chocolate, coffee, bourbon, salt, sweetness.

On tap at Nærbø Ølfestival. An unclear dark brown beer with a minimal off-white head. The aroma has coffee, roasted malts, Smash chocolate, alcohol and some booze. It's full-bodied, smooth and quite low but pleasant on the carbonation level. Lightly salty, with a vague hint of corn. Coffee, roasted malts, dark chocolate, caramel or toffee and nuts, which made me think of Toffifee as well, and some dried fruits in the flavor. Lasting sweet finish. A quite weird one, interesting and not bad either. 191005

svart farge med beige skum. Lukter av mørke stenfrukter, røstet malt, sjokolade. sjokolade, salt lakris i smak også noe søtlig i munnfølelse.

Bottle. Pitch black body with a brown head. Aroma has dark malt, chocolate and Bourbon. Taste is more than less the same, dark, moderate roasted malt, dark chocolate, balanced bitterness and Bourbon. Fine body and long-lasting aftertaste. I don’t get the Smash (salty chocolate) thing, but otherwise it’s a fine imperial stout with Bourbon. Not very complex really, but smooth dark malt, chocolate and Bourbon is a killer combination as it is and who needs a pastry stout when you got this.

Så vidt gjennomskinnelig: Ultramørk dyprød. Mokkafarget filmskum. Tynn teppelacing. Aroma av lær & kakao. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken kokos & lakris. En anelse bourbon i avslutninga. Alkoholen aldeles bortkamuflert.
