Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout aged for three months in Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrels. Deep ebony hue with a beautiful mahogany head, an aroma of fresh-baked bread, toffee, and espresso mingling with the woody vanilla notes of Bourbon whiskey and the rich roasted flavors wrapped with Bourbon.

KØLF 100120. Dark brown color with a beige head. Flavor is bourbon, wood, cocos, vanilla, roasted malt, cocoa. Easy drinkable beer.

Tap at 23 Craft Beerz. Nice. Barrel sweetness, vanilla, I've cream, roast there in the background. Easy drinking for a barrel stout, but the % is fairly low. Smooth. Not the most complex, but nice.

Bottle. Black colored beer. Bourbon, vanilla and raisin in the aroma. Thinnish. Vanilla and bourbon in the raisinny , slightly roasty flavor. Sweetish with a hint of ash in the finish. Nice but thinnish and onedimensional.

Virtually black with a thin, beige head. Aroma full of oak, bourbon, toast. Mild roasted bitter taste with a bit of chocolate. Medium bodied. Light warmth at the end. Nice.

On tap. Pours an opaque dark brown almost black with a medium, creamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, licorice, bourbon, vanilla and oak. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, caramel, toffee, vanilla, coffee and oak in a warming bourbon finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Nice complexity.

Lots of wild turkey with a smaller amount of detectable stout beneath the whiskey. Roast and caramel. Black pour with OK head and lacing. Bittersweet and boozy end. Tap at Yard House DC.

650ml bottle (thanks, Mathieu P.!) shared with Andrey. Pours an almost black with a beige head. Aroma is a bit sweet with nice bourbon and slight fruity notes. Taste is similar with caramel notes. A bit overcarbonated. Good one, though.

Schönes großes Fläschchen. In der Nase ist deutlich das Fass auszumachen. Im Trunk leicht wässrig, wenig Bourbon, etwas Schokolade. Das ist leider viel zu wenig intensiv - kann garnicht glauben, dass das fast 7% hat.
