Food pairing: Charcuterie of fish and chips. //// 2018: Ad Hop (500 ml / 6.3% alc.) is een dry-hopped appelcider met licht bittere tonen van hop. (Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 26 Aug 2022) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with frothy white head. Fruity, slightly sourish nose with grass, flowers, citrus and apples. Fruity, tart taste with notes of citrus, apples, grass and a touch of yeast. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and fresh, with a light citric hop presence. Nice one.

Slightly cloudy pale yellow, some good carbonation, no head. Smells slightly tart, dry, apple. Light body, refreshing carbonation. Very dry, good apple flavour, slight hop bitter at the finish. Super refreshing, even quite crisp.

0.33 l bottle from 'Beerdome', best before April 2021. Clear, pale golden with a few white bubbles on top of it. Slightly sweetish, a little sourish, quite fruity, slightly funky and gently herbal-grassy aroma of apples, barnyard, quince and light lemon peel. Minimally sweet, gently dry, sourish, quite herbal-grassy, funky and gently fruity taste of barnyard, apples, lemon peel and quince, followed by a short, quite dry, slightly tart, funky and rather herbal-grassy finish. Thin body, minimally astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel. Nicely hoppy cider with a touch of funk, really nice!

330ml bottle from Ciderwinkle. 7.4%. Golden colour, white foam head that reduces to a thin white rim and aroma of citric hop. Taste is fleshy apple, woody, floral with citric hoppy notes. Medium bodied, low to medium carbonation, dry citric hop finish. Quite drinkable.
