This gueuze is obtained by mixing ('versnijden'), young and old lambiek. It achieves a beautiful balance between sweet, sour and slightly bitter, which makes it an ideal thirst quencher on hot and humid summer days. It is only mildly sour with touches of citrus, strawberry and caramelised grains.

Clear amber. Aroma is belgian funk grapes some wood. Taste is sweet and watery a bit artificial. Quite much lemonade. Is this a faro gueuze???

Bottle. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is candied sugar, wood, horseblanket. Taste is the same, with some Haribo candied apple rings. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Drinkable, but not a proper Geuze.

Pours foggy light amber. Moderate creamy ivory head. Excellent retention. Light acidity dominates the aroma. Soaked apples. Hardly any wildness. Light body. The taste is sweetish. Somewhat malty. Light yeastiness. Hollow ending.

From old tasting notes. Bright amber orange color. Huge rocky beige head. Fruity malt nose. Subtle fruity malt flavor is tart and sweet. Delicate and refreshing.

0,375 l bottle. Dark copper in the glass, small head. Sugar sweetness und fruity sourness on the nose. Taste is a little bit tart, apples, malty sweetness in the background. Thins out in the second part, nearly cardboardy. Meh.
