Draught @ Small Bar, 31 King Street, Gloucestershire, BS1 4DZ Bristol, England.[ As The Kernel India Pale Ale Mosaic Galaxy El Dorado ].Unclear - hazy medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, pale malt, citrus, grapefruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170807] 7-3-8-3-15

On tap at the Small Bar Bristol. A slightly hazy pale golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of mild fruity hops, yellow fruits, pineapple. Taste of fruity bitter hops yellow fruits, pineapple, pale malt, long bitter finish.

Bottle. Trembling Madness Bottle Shop, York. Super hazy, lumpy, orange gold. Thin, dense, sticky, white head. Nose has puréed berry fruits. Ripe orange pulp. Some candied peel. Bit of stewed hop and sappy pine. Taste is sticky sweet and toffee like, with plenty of piny, boiled hop bitterness. Lots of sticky body. Soft carbonation. Long, sticky pine bitterness to finish. Tasty gear.

Bottle at home from Offie & Toffee. A broodingly dark golden colour in the glass and a pleasant head. Lots of hops and pine on the nose and a heavily hopped and nicely bitter taste. Quite a good mouthfeel and very thirst quenching on a hot day. Very nice, but not one to hunt down again.

Bottle at home, 19/05/17. Hazed golden orange with a well appointed off white head. Nose is orange pith, straw, light bready conotations, melon, papaya, light spice. Taste comprises orange pith, chalky minerals, light pine needle, tangerine, mango, soft brioche, sweet tropicana. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with balanced hop bitterness. Not the cleanest of IPA’s from the Kernel ... decent enough but too heavy on the minerals for my liking.

Light amber golden color. The nose is decadent, but pineapples, watermelon and grapefruit party. Medium full body. Modestly aggressively bitterness. Good alpha acidity. Decent backbone. Very juicy. Love it.

On keg at Tuckers Maltings Taphouse, shared with Finn. Hazy golden body, low white head leaving clingy lacing behind. Good punch of grapefruit on the nose. Smooth citrus flavours, including orange and grapefruit, sustained by juicy malts. Lingering mid-dry hop bitter finish. Good depth. Excellent (Newton Abbot 27.04.2017).
