Bottle at home in London - picked up from Clapton Craft. First beer in the UK after being away from London for about 10 days; it had to be Kernel. Pours clear gold with a frothy, pure white head. The nose has some melon, a little dankness, tangerine, mango. Light to medium sweet flavour with notes of pithy lemon and grapefruit, piney bitterness, dried pale malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Fairly dry on the finish, with grassy and lightly piney bitterness, more pithy grapefruit, light minerality. Solid overall.

Light haze on this gold beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and mildly dry. Reasonable carbonation. Soft malts, sweetish. Light hop spice. Citric peel and grapefruit. Orange leads mild tropical fruits. Traces of pine and hop skunk. Light finish. Could be crisper but great flavours.

330ml bottle from Beer Ritz. Orange amber colour with a white foam head leaving alittle lacing. Nose of tropical fruits, passionfruit, hop resins. Taste is biscuity malt caramel with tangy spicy citrus, woody pine and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry earthy & spicy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from the Modern Beer Co, Maltby Street Market. Hazy deep amber colour lasting off white head. Intense tropical fruit aroma. Hoppy in the mouth, fullish mouthfeel. Some light caramel. Light bitterness. A bit too much toffee caramel for me. Decent but not one to light the lights.
