A well hopped Pale Ale. Full of hops from the USA and Australia. This is a chestnut-coloured, modern pale ale with fruit and floral flavours and crisp bitterness.

Tried at the Nottingham Beer Festival 14. Hazy gold colour. Floral, citrus, hints of malt and fruit. Long bitter finish.

Hazy amber beer, tidy off white head. Palate is softish with fine carbonation. Sweetish malt base. Hops are twangy bitter - little floralness and a touch of citrus. Light finish. Not bad, just a bit twangy.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours mostly clear, amber-gold with a frothy, off-white foam head. The nose holds lots of dry wood, berries, some faint ripe orange, leaves. Light to medium sweet flavor with toasty leaves, light caramel, some dried citrus fruits, subtle berry jam, some bready sugars. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, fairly well balanced by leafy and lightly citrusy hops, some piney and leafy bitterness, dry bread. Pretty decent overall. Kind of like a cross between APA and ESB. I like it.

Bottle. Appearance- cloudy, light brown/orangey, big foamy off white head which persists and leaves some lacing. Aroma- some floral notes, bit of malt, hoppiness, a bit fruity. Taste- hit of bitterness, malty, slight plum and raisin hints, longish finish, medium to full mouthfeel, some caramel. Pretty good.

Cask gravity at Firkin Ale House Folkestone. Deep amber colour some ok malt. Very tasty in fact a little bit of hop. Faint sting on finish that is insistent though. Ok
